Welcome to Verbory, a mobile application developed by G-Advance Interactive ("we", "us", "our", "the developer"). At G-Advance Interactive, we respect your privacy and are strongly committed to protecting your data.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application "Verbory" and our associated services. By downloading, installing, or using Verbory, you agree to the practices described in this document.

2. Personal Data Collection and Use (Offline Nature)

Verbory is an application designed to work completely offline (without an internet connection). By technical design and conviction, our stance on data collection is strict and transparent:

  • No user accounts required: We will not ask you to create a profile or log in with social networks. We do not collect your name, email address, date of birth, phone number, or passwords.
  • Local Data: All your progress, statistics (such as correct and incorrect answers in game modes), daily streaks, customized vocabulary lists, and accumulated keys are stored exclusively and locally on your mobile device's internal memory using an SQLite database.
  • No cloud servers: G-Advance Interactive does not transmit, store, or have access to your study progress or custom lists. We do not have our own servers to back up this information.

3. Third-Party Services and Network Connection

Although Verbory's core mechanics work without an internet connection, the application requires network access permissions exclusively to communicate with third-party services (Google) for the following purposes:

  • In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing): We offer in-app purchases (PRO version and consumables). All financial transactions are securely and directly processed by the Google Play Store. We do not collect or process your financial information.
  • Advertising (Google AdMob and AdServices): The free version uses Google AdMob to display rewarded ads. Google may use device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), cookies, and AdServices APIs (Topics and Attribution) to serve personalized ads and measure their performance.
  • Usage Analytics (Google Analytics / Firebase): We use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the application (e.g., which game modes are most popular or if crash errors occur). This information is statistical, anonymous, and is not linked to your personal identity.

4. System Permissions Justification

To ensure the proper functioning of the game's features, Verbory may request the following permissions on your device:

  • Control vibration: Used exclusively to provide haptic feedback when you answer correctly or fail in game modes.
  • Show notifications and Run at startup: Required so the local system can send you daily study reminders and help you keep your streak active.
  • Ignore battery optimizations and Foreground service: Technically employed to ensure that scheduled study notifications trigger at the exact time.
  • Prevent device from sleeping (Wakelock): Used during active game sessions (such as Time Trial or Survival modes) to prevent the screen from turning off automatically while the user is reading or answering a challenge.

5. Retention, Security, and Irreversible Data Loss

Since Verbory operates under a strictly local technical architecture, you have absolute control and responsibility over the information generated in the application:

  • Local Storage: Your progress, statistics, and custom lists are stored solely on your device's internal memory. We do not have access to them.
  • Information Security: The protection of this data depends exclusively on the physical and digital security measures you apply to your own mobile device (such as screen locks or biometrics).
  • Manual Management and Deletion ("Danger Zone"): You have total control over your data. Within the app's settings, we offer a reset tool that allows you to voluntarily delete your entire learning history, streaks, statistics, and consumables without needing to uninstall the application.
  • Permanent Loss upon Uninstallation: Because we do not have cloud servers, synchronization mechanisms, or external backups, if you uninstall the application, clear the app data from your system settings, or change devices, all your progress, streaks, accumulated keys, and lists will be permanently and irretrievably lost. G-Advance Interactive has no technical or material capacity, nor the obligation, to restore or recover this information under any circumstances.

6. User-Generated Content Privacy

Verbory allows users to create custom lists, add their own verbs, and freely modify translations. Since all this information is processed and stored 100% locally on your device, we do not monitor, filter, censor, or have access to the texts or translations you enter. All responsibility regarding the nature and content of the entered data lies exclusively with the user.

7. Children's Privacy

Our application is designed for the general public and encourages educational learning. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since Verbory does not request registration data, names, or emails, there is no mechanism by which a minor can share personal information with us through standard use of the application.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. We advise you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
